We could offer education programs where students are taught what every job is like: the requirements, the opportunities and the general life. They could also take part in internship programs where they will be able to verify whether they actually like their job or not.
Moreover, it would be beneficial for students to spend some time talking to people who already did the job: to get information and tips. For example, a student  passionate about maths could do ‘a day in the life of the engineer’ which could make them realize whether they want to do that job in the future.
